Harry, a shih tzu, was a victim of neglect and abandonment by his owners. He was found with severely matted fur that obstructed his vision, and his skin was infested with ticks, causing it to rot and leaving burn-like wounds on his sides. After the rescue, Harry was understandably disoriented and scared, and he even showed aggression towards the shelter staff.

Despite the initial challenges, we remained patient and determined to help Harry heal and regain his trust. We provided him with a bath and grooming, which helped to relieve him of the painful and uncomfortable matting and tick infestation. We also administered proper veterinary care to treat his wounds and improve his overall health.

Over time, Harry began to show improvements and gradually became more comfortable and relaxed around us. Today, he is in the best shape of his life, with clean and well-groomed fur, and he is doing well both physically and emotionally. We are happy to have been a part of his journey towards recovery, and we are confident that he will soon find a loving forever home where he will be cherished and cared for as he deserves.
