Anna is a brave and resilient dog who has overcome many health challenges in her life. When she was rescued, it was discovered that she had contracted Anaplasma and Erlichia, both serious tickborne diseases. In addition to this, she was also severely anemic, which made her weak and vulnerable.

Despite her health issues, Anna has shown incredible strength and determination. She is one of the oldest dogs that the rescue team has ever rescued and has lost almost all of her teeth, making it difficult for her to eat and enjoy her food. To add to her challenges, Anna also has poor eyesight.

Two months after her rescue, the doctors discovered that Anna had a mammary tumor. Due to her age and frail condition, the doctors recommended against surgery. Although this was a difficult setback, Anna remained strong and continued to enjoy her life to the fullest.
