Bernadeth came to our attention after a distressing incident in which she was struck by a car, sustaining a severe head injury. Upon her arrival at the veterinary clinic, she underwent a thorough examination, which unfortunately revealed that she tested positive for distemper, a highly contagious and often fatal viral disease in dogs. Despite the dedicated efforts of our veterinary team, Bernadeth’s condition took a turn for the worse during the journey from the clinic to the shelter. Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries and the effects of the distemper, peacefully passing away on her way to the shelter.

Bernadeth’s story underscores the critical role that veterinary care and early disease detection play in ensuring the well-being of our furry friends, and it motivates us to continue our efforts to protect and care for animals in need.
